Starmark wins 9 ADDY Awards at Fort Lauderdale/Palm Beach AdFed Gala

Fort Lauderdale based integrated marketing agency Starmark has received nine awards, including two gold and seven silver, at the Advertising Federation of Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach ADDY Awards.

For client Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau (GFLCVB), Starmark won a Gold ADDY in the Non-Traditional Advertising category for the custom, three-dimensional “Sidewalk Chalk” graphic that complemented the “Hello Sunny Brand Bridging” event in Washington, DC.

Additional awards won for the GFLCVB were a Silver ADDY for the destination’s annual Vacation Playbook and Meeting Planner Guide; a Silver ADDY for the “Meet Sunny” three-part direct mailer campaign; a Silver ADDY in the Out of Home category for three-dimensional graphics displayed on trucks in Germany; a Silver ADDY for the CBGB Music Festival Brand Bridging event in Times Square; a Silver ADDY for the Hello Sunny Brand Bridging event in New York’s Grand Central Terminal; and a Silver ADDY in the Consumer Publication category for the LGBT insert featured in Details Magazine.

The Lowes Miami Beach Hotel was also honored in the Digital Advertising Video category with a Silver ADDY for the Hotel Meetings Video.

In the category of Advertising Industry Self Promotion, Starmark took home a Gold ADDY for the agency’s “Brand Bridging” Direct Mail Campaign. This two-part series consisted of a C-level teaser mailer, followed by a video booklet that promoted Starmark’s experiential marketing strategy known as “Brand Bridging.” “Through Brand Bridging, we’re able to engage our clients’ customers through unique experiences in unexpected locations,” said Lisa Hoffman, Starmark Chief Marketing Officer. “We’ve achieved very successful returns for our clients with these events. To be recognized by our industry peers for the hard work just adds to that success.”
