Starmark Moves Uptown To Accommodate Their Stellar Rise
September 1, 2000 – (Fort Lauderdale, FL) – Starmark International, Inc., – the South Florida advertising, branding and internet agency; known for effectively branding, building and marketing dot com and traditional companies nationally – announced today that they have successfully moved into their spacious, newly remodeled building at 701 S. Federal Highway. Starmark International, Inc., purchased the former Two Guys Pizza Bldg. at 701 S. Federal Hwy for their new corporate headquarters during the winter and has spent the subsequent months gutting, building, remodeling and decorating the facility to meet the growing business and creative needs of the agency.
Dan L. Estes, CEO of Starmark, said, “The Dot Com, high technology, marine and health care industry clients that make up the majority of our client base are growing rapidly and we’ve had to expand quickly to meet their needs. Our former location in the Quay Center on the 17th St. Causeway was too small to effectively service them. The new 7,300 square foot structure has been designed and built specifically for a creative, fast-paced agency.” Estes continued, “As a part of this we’ve designed some unique interior spaces that promote and inspire interaction among our creative teams and showcase our campaigns and web sites. The two-story atrium lobby makes for an impressive entrance and gallery area to display our clients’ branding and advertising art. Oversized plasma screens will soon be added to display our major Internet sites in the atrium area as well.”
Estes’ Starmark partners, Peggy Nordeen, President, and Brett Circe, Webmaster, have worked with him to add creative touches to the space, among which is an impressive server room that will house the company’s computer gear. Constructure, Inc., Hollywood, was the general contractor for the project. Starmark, Inc. was founded in 1978 in Chicago as an integrated marketing communications and advertising agency serving B2B clients – both entrepreneurs and Fortune 1000 companies. Among Starmark’s achievements is being the first company to make Inc. Magazine’s List of the 500 Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies for 5 years in a row. In 1998, Starmark’s founders relocated Starmark to Fort Lauderdale, acquired TKOnet, a 3-year-old Internet company, and formed Starmark International, Inc., to offer branding, advertising and internet services to a growing base of national and international clientele.
