Starmark Hosts Renowned National AR/VR Leader
360 Virtual Tour | Augmented Reality | Innovation Lab | Realities | Virtual Reality
Attendees had a blast test-driving leading-edge AR and VR technology and left with real-world insights on how AR/VR can solve their own business challenges at Starmark’s February 9th VIP Luncheon, featuring Jay Miolla, Director of AR, VR and MR at Gramercy Tech.
The luncheon was planned as a hands-on follow-up session for clients and other invited business leaders following Jay’s February 8th AR/VR presentation to South Florida Interactive Marketing Association (SFIMA) members. The prior evening’s event was held at IGFA Fishing Hall of Fame and Museum and also sponsored by Starmark.
Guests tried leading-edge AR and VR equipment, including the HTC Vive running a laser scan and gigapixel photo VR simulation; an AR demo for the auto industry on the Microsoft Hololens; and a fun charity fundraiser VR “5K bike ride” that used a VR bike inside Starmark’s Innovation Lab.
Jay answered everyone’s questions and provided strategic recommendations for those interested in exploring AR or VR business applications. Business leaders left with real-world insights on how AR and VR can help them solve their own organizational problems and grow customer sales, loyalty and market share.
“Starmark was pleased and excited to partner with SFIMA in sponsoring Jay’s presentation at the SFIMA event Thursday night,” said Brett Circe, Chief Interactive Officer. “But we also wanted our clients and invited guests to benefit from his expertise on a more personal, one-to-one basis. This follow-up session gave South Florida business leaders the chance to experience leading-edge AR/VR first-hand and ask questions directly related to their AR & VR strategies for 2018 and beyond.”
