It takes a lot of talented people to make Starmark shine. Led by Founder and CEO Peggy Nordeen, President Jacqui Hartnett and Chief Digital Officer Brett Circe, we come from everywhere to call Starmark home.

Katy Gewartowski heads up account service, and Nathalie Dupont leads our performance marketing practice. Executive Creative Director Dale Baron spearheads our award-winning creative efforts, with creative leadership in each of our workstreams from Marlo Russom and Jacob Edenfield.

Lily Puente serves as our VP of Operations.

Peggy Nordeen

CEO

Peggy, who co-founded Starmark/Chicago in 1978 and Starmark International in Florida in 1998, is a visionary leader whose travel and hospitality expertise has helped make the agency a renowned integrated marketing powerhouse. In 2006, she was named South Florida’s Business Woman of the Year, and in 2018 she was named Seafarers’ House South Florida Business Leader of the Year.

Jacqui Hartnett

President

Jacqui is a multi-faceted executive who brings a wealth of professionalism, strategic capabilities and management expertise to Starmark. She manages the agency’s operations and leads the team where her eye for detail and management skills are valuable assets in planning and galvanizing the success of client programs.

Brett Circe

Chief Digital Officer

With all aspects of business and branding now touching mobile, social and apps, Brett ensures that client strategies and tactics integrate seamlessly in the digital realm, in real time. He maximizes the effectiveness of big ideas to achieve client goals and objectives. He investigates online opportunities in every advertising and marketing program.

Katy is an account strategist leading marketing programs spanning the digital, social and traditional realm. She excels at collaborating with clients to create relevant campaigns through engaging and innovative delivery methods. Katy launched her career in public relations and specializes in travel and hospitality, overseeing content development and manages internal and external resources.

Nathalie Dupont

VP, Digital Strategy

Nathalie is an accomplished data-driven digital marketer with demonstrated success in strategic demand generation and performance marketing. She brings over 15 years of digital marketing experience across both start up and enterprise organizations. Before joining Starmark, Nathalie held senior digital and growth marketing positions at Redox, Nuance Communications and Kaplan Higher Education.

Dale Baron

VP, Executive Creative Director

Dale is the creative dynamo behind Starmark’s integrated consumer and B2B programs. He has been instrumental in developing some of the agency’s most successful campaign work. Dale helps cultivate the vision, voice and identity of each brand, while providing guidance to his award-winning creative team.

Marlo Russom

Associate Creative Director/Writer

Marlo’s storytelling has touched countless consumers for clients such as the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau, Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts, Florida’s Emerald Coast, the British Virgin Islands, SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment and Kaplan University. She’s worked at both boutique shops and worldwide agencies and is a multiple award winner in print, broadcast, out-of-home and digital — taking home an Emmy Award, several ADDYs, Flaglers and Tellys, including seven “Bests of Show” during her career.

Jacob Edenfield

Group Creative Director

Jacob watched enough Bewitched as a child to want Darren Stevens’ job in advertising. So he earned a degree from the University of North Carolina, moved to the Midwest, got some promotions, won a few awards, rescued lots of animals and started a music electronics company — before chasing the salt air to South Florida. As an ACD, he now works tirelessly to balance the terrible exchange rate between words and pictures.

Lily Puente

VP, Operations

Lily has been part of the Starmark family for 18 years. Since 2015, she spearheads HR, Finance and Operations as part of our leadership team. From recruiting to hiring to onboarding and training to benefits and payroll, Lily’s role encompasses the entire lifecycle of our employees. She’s also responsible for our financial operations, budgeting and cash flow, along with our leasing, insurance and events planning. So if you’ve ever done business with Starmark (or attended one of our excellent events), you can thank Lily for making it happen.
